CHAPTER ONE: LOVE
The Joker was always Batman's archenemy, but they don't get as bad as this. The Batman: A Death in The Family story line features Batman and Robin taking down the Joker, when Batman must save Robin, the Joker traps Robin in the funhouse, set to explode. When it exploded, Batman lost his best friend. The wonderful 1990's art of this story is by Jim Aparo, and it's great story is well-known.
CHAPTER TWO: ANGER
Every time the Joker does a bad thing, or wins a fight, Batman thinks of the death of Robin and seeks anger over Joker. Batman's feelings where always loving, but when Joker wins, his heart turns ice cold. Batman never hoped to see himself loose a friend, but for love, Batman often gives Joker a beat down in many stories. Batman does, in fact, act evil when he takes Joker down, but he always gets it together.
CHAPTER THREE: RED HOOD
In the fith demension, where villains are good and heroes are bad, Red Hood is the hero version of Joker. Sure, Batman and Joker battle sometimes, but Red Hood and Batman always fight together. Red Hood is featured in Joker's origin, where Red Hood's stealing chemicals in Ace Chemical Factory.
